We only carry the work of the most attentive artisans who are accomplished masters of their respective crafts. The lanterns they create for us are exquisitely handmade, one piece at a time, using methods from the 1800’s. These artisanal methods result in unique items, never perfectly reproducing some regular design. Even though we strive to give the most accurate description feasible, each one-of-a-kind item may vary somewhat from its description, measurements, sizes, patterns, and design. These irregularities are the mark of true handmade products and makes them charmingly unique and authentic to the period. Please note we do the best we can to keep accurate inventory. With that said, sometimes inventory is not accurately displayed and can fall out of stock without notice. Please allow 4-6 week wait on out of stock items. Credit cards are never charged until item is shipped.
